Quality Engineering Services is a privately owned, ISO 9001-2008 registered company, specializing in the Design and Manufacture of fixtures, gages, resin transfer molds and cast urethane products for both the aerospace industry and a variety of industrial manufacturing companies.
We offer a single source solution to handle both the design and manufacturing of fixtures, gages and cast urethane products. Our fully integrated management team is capable of handling projects from design conception thru tool /gage tryout. Our ISO Quality Management System insures that we monitor and document all critical processes. We work continuously with our customers to improve product quality and delivery.
History
Quality Engineering Services was founded in Wallingford, CT in 1971 by its present owner and president, Richard Addy. The original business focused on die work and precision machined parts. We have since grown from two employees to 38, now located in a modern, climate controlled facility, still in Wallingford at 122 North Plains Industrial Rd.
We are a leader in the design and fabrication of precision tooling and gauging for the aerospace industry. In 2000, we added a plastics department which produces cast urethane and RTV silicone products.
We continue to invest heavily in the latest CAD software and computers, CNC and manual machines, inspection equipment, and employees. This allows us to maintain a high level of quality and customer needs for tooling in a cost efficient and timely manner.
